Liverpool Waste Management will roll up your spent batteries and take them to a licensed recycling centre, where our business associates use advanced, state of the art gear and British technology to recycle them.
The BS20 Batterysafe is ideal for offices, schools and little making websites. This service is a one-stop alternative for the safe storage, transportation and recycling of domestic type batteries such as those seen in the little portable appliances e.g. alkaline, ni cad, zinc etc. The container is delivered to website, collected when complete (with no time limit) and the contents recycled for an all-inclusive price, which includes the consignment note. The BS20 has a 20 Litre capacity and will hold up to 50 Kgs of mixed batteries. It’s not suitable for larger batteries such as lead acid batteries – see BS750 below.
The BS750 Batterysafe is perfect for websites with substantial batteries or a greater than typical usage of the smaller batteries. The BS750 can hold mixed dry cell batteries or lead acid wet cell batteries, but they must not be combined together. So that both types could be kept until you’re ready for recycling, it might be cost effective to have two containers. Respond by filling out our get a quotation page. The BS750 is suitable for larger batteries from the UPS or Copy systems including lead acid or nicads.
Additional Battery Tips
Liverpool Waste Management cannot accept lithium cells or button cell type batteries in the above containers, please contact us for an alternate quote. Where blended (dry and wet cell) batteries are put in the BS750 a higher charge will apply to cover additional segregation. All lead cables to be removed from all batteries. Damaged and leaking batteries to be kept in powerful, sealed plastic bags.
